PSE, Private and Public School Exchange is hiring a Local Coordinator in Tyler to supervise an international student attending Bishop Gorman Catholic High School.As a COORDINATOR you will oversee the international students and provide support to the host family and school. Coordinators are the first point of contact for support questions and guidance. They check in with the student and host family on a regular basis to offer assistance and to evaluate the homestay experience. This is a part time position. Many of our coordinators are stay at home moms, retired and/or hold full time positions. PSE Coordinators do this because they have a love for teens, international cultures and are well connected in the community. The qualities we look for in our coordinators are creativity, dedication, understanding of people and teens in particular, and patience. We pay a placement fee when a student is placed with a family and a bimonthly stipend for oversight while the student is in the communityWe have an application process that includes background checks. This is a contract position.
